This is one of those "hole in a wall" places that is sure to surprise you with the quality of food and service. Excellent food, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. A+!

No spice asked for hot sauce and only had salsa that was no hotter than ketchup. Waiter after telling I like it hot only said he was sorry and did nothing to accommodate. Skip this place if you want the main ingredient in Mexican food.

Great food and service. Ordered fajitas via DoorDash one day and they were soo good we had to check them out. Staff was welcoming with chips and salsa ready and the food was amazing. We had the Carne asada tacos and Trio plate. Delish!

Food delicious prices are good nice size portion.

Not clean, took so much time for order. Nobody came back to ask if needed to order more, had to go to reception to order dessert. Dishes weren’t picked up when dessert was served. Ordered Guacamole, which was too little. No spoons/forks/plates with dessert. Nobody asked ya for drinks. Had to go to reception to even get water. Nobody came for bill. Again had to go to reception to get bill and paid at the reception. Not sure how there are 4 star ratings at Woodbridge location.

Really good food and good service. Great selection of vegetarian items. Everything is made fresh to order. Great location, just off the the interstate.

Our favorite place for Mexican food. We get it delivered fairly often, but when close by like to sit down and eat there as well. The Nachos Texicanos (sp?) are phenomenal. Highly recommended.

First time I ever had a dinner in a bowl made out of volcanic rock. It was really good but I can't pronounce the name

When it comes to the food which is the main attraction, it is extremely delicious. Now I've only had one dish, but I've had that one dish every time I've been there. Each and every time it's been extraordinary. It stands to reason that I can attest to the consistency of El Charro. Although I can only account for one dish, my family & friends have tried various meals. Each and every time they've raved about the quality and quantity of said meals. Each star was given with a 1-10 rating. Food Quality (8)☆ Food Quantity (9) ☆ Price (8) ☆ Customer Service while Dinning In & Out (10) ☆ Atmosphere / Ambience (5) 1/2 ☆ but there is not a half star so I only gave it 4 stars.

We've been dining here for many years. We always receive attentive service. The food is reasonably priced and the servings are generous.

They always have great service and the employees are very kind. The food is pretty much the best authentic Mexican food you will get in this area for a decent price. I love this place!

Food was mediocre, but edible. The menu pictured a tasty bowl of guacamole, but what we received was definitely NOT what was in the picture. Also it would have been nice if they offered black beans as an alternative to refried. I doubt that we’d go back.

So the service was definitely on point but thats about it man. Unfortunately from the time you walk in it has an old musty smell, bus it's one of those smells where you might just get the best food of your life or you might get food poisoning lol. You never know. However, while I didn't get food poisoning, it definitely wasn't the best food of my life. It was actually pretty meh across the board. I'll give them some points for the portion sizes and the fact that some menu items are priced extremely low. Of the 5 things we had, the best thing was the free chips and salsa. Even the premade margarita was bad. We didn't spend a lot and the food is definitely edible, but I can't say that I'll be back.

This is a generic Tex Mex restaurant. With those expectations, we knew we wouldn’t get authentic or highest quality food. However, the soda I ordered was flat and tasted like soap. They replaced it with a (requested) lemonade that I’m pretty sure was fresh out of the can, like I’d buy myself at the store. My husband ordered the house margarita, which was premade mix, added to bottom shelf cheap tequila. The prices were not worth what we ended up getting. I ordered fish tacos, which were too salty and the enchiladas were nothing special.

I admire this spot! They offer great dishes, they have a nice menu, The chief cook in that restaurant is very experienced, I love very much trying all their food. The dishes are always of high qualtity, the attitude towards the guests is helpful. I visit often this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Just moved to Woodbridge and had dinner here the first night. Was yummy and affordable. Fajitas were great. Burrito was good. That is el charro

Wouldn't recommend eating here. There was a roach in the restaurant when we went to eat there. The food wasn't that good either. The salsa was marinara sauce. Our waiter provided good service, but that was about the only thing good out of my experience there.

Don't go there, they will beat you out your monies at least the Mgr. or Owner did me. He gave me the price which kind throwed up a red flag in my mind. I get home its more than I order plus the food was cold after I asked how long would it be he said 5 0 bcuz of the language barrier I quoted it back he said yes. Finding out the food was ready in 15 mins instead 50 mins then started passing the blame on some 1 else. Ppl. Like this shouldn't be in business. They will never ever get another penny from me. Time are hard on everyone so stop beating your customers before you put your own self out business with that practiceStop it NOW!!!!!!!!!

Food was delicious, chicken fajitas lunch special, staff friendly and attentive. Would recommend and will come again. One star off for slightly oily chips, but I am picky about my tortilla chips.

We ordered carry-out so the food was okay. The carne asada was really tough. I gave two stars because the meat was seasoned well but too tough.

One of my all-time favorite Mexican restaurants. Everything is good, but the tomatillo salsa served with the tacos is amazing! It's an oily, red smoked salsa that I have never quite been able to duplicate, so last time I was there I bought a quart!

I've visited this location many times and it's never a bad experience. You are seated promptly. Your server is fast to get you your chips and salsa. Drinks are brought to you quickly. Food is always hot and brought out quickly. Located right off of Interstate 95 in Dale City just 2 minutes from Potomac Mills, they are a great choice for lunch or dinner.

My brothers always mispronounced the name of this place and thought it was a cactus shop for half a decade before finding out it was a restuarant. If only they'd gone in and actually eaten the delicious food like I did...then they wouldn't have appeared so FOOLISHLY INCOMPETENT!!! FOOOOOOLLLLSSSS!!!!!

Local hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. I've been going there for a decade and it is always tasty. They've updated the interior a few times over the years, so I'm happy to see them evolve.

The salsa was marinara sauce with cilantro. Chips were old. Waiter forgot about our table a few times. If I could zero start this place I would.

Was shopping in the area and decided to stop in for dinner. The prices were affordable and the portions were pretty decent for the price. The waiter was pleasant and the food arrived quickly. The place was pretty dead but it had decent reviews so we gave it a try. There are only 2 things that I would change (and neither were deal breakers). I got steak fajitas and my husband got chicken fajitas. The meat was chopped REALLY small compared to other restaurants. We had to dig through the pile of onions, peppers and tomatoes to find the meat. The other note was the lack of flavor in the steak. There is something about fajita steak that is amazingly delicious, and this steak didnt have it. Like I said, neither were a deal breaker, I would just order something else if we stopped in again.
